A very charming example of Indian Modernism during the late colonial period. One can see a close similarity in style with Minimalist attitudes of the French ‘neo-classiques’ such as Andrè Arbus and Jacques Quinet. An example of very refined aesthetics with subtle touches of artisanal attention, which I tried to illustrate as much as possible in the pictures.
