Ww2 Trench Art Artillery Shell Coin Ashtray – Wwii Folk Art

A fascinating Word War II trench art sculptural ammo ashtray.

Typically hand-crafted by a soldier from found objects during their down time at war, especially in the trenches of WW1, hence the name, this interesting folk art work consists of elements from a variety of countries, including a cut-down brass German 88mm anti-aircraft or tank artillery shell casing, 50BMG, six American 7.62×63mm shells, mounted with various French and Italian coins.
