Highly colorful and completely operational hard to find LARGE tin child’s toy spinning top made by the J. Chein Company, Harrison, New Jersey, Circa 1950. It works great and is in completely all original condition and authentic with no repairs, no touch-up or repaint, and no restoration of any kind. A few scratches here and there from having been played with; the multiplicity of colors of red, purple, blue, yellow, white, green and orange, are very strong on a white base backdrop. It is all metal except for the small 3″ yellow plastic support base on the underneath. The metal spiral plunger is attached to a red wooden handle and is pulled out and depressed in place once or twice to get the action going (see the accompanying video).
This size is hard to find with the dimensions being quite large at 11 1/4″ diameter x 11″ high.
