Vintage Design
A playful nod to the Japanese decorative spirit of Danish glassworks Homelgaard, the “Sakura” lamp series was designed by the brilliant Michael Bang. The glass artisans of Holmegaard offer us a poetic and evocative vision of the table lamp. The spherical lamp base is made of white opaline glass, tormented with pretty pink clouds. This is the “Lille Kugle” model, small ball.
The Scandinavian lamp is made of opalescent glass, with pink shades. The stand is original electrified and in very good condition. It was made in Denmark by the Holmegaard glassworks in the 1980s. The manufacturer’s label is still present. Some traces are visible on the lampshade.
29-40cm in diameter and 23cm in height for the lampshade, 18cm in diameter and 15cm in height for the base, 48cm in total height.
