Purchased this item from The Furniture Collection at N&S Design in Westport, CT on or about 1988.
The table base material is wrought iron metal with three horses in a triangular configuration. The finish is verdigris patina.

The glass top is not affixed. The glass top sits on top of felt pads on each corner of the base.

Local pickup is preferred as this item is quite heavy to pack and ship.

The glass is original to the table. It is 1/2″ thick glass. It has a very small bevel on the top edge. It looks like the glass has a light tint to it. For example, if you hold your hand underneath the glass you can see the difference, but very subtle.
I used felt backed place mats for protection and table cloth. If you look closesly you can see the scratches from normal use. Other than that, the glass lightens up the dining room, reflects light nicesly and you can see the base design through the glass clearly.
There are no cracks.
