Vintage Design
Stunning brass & crystal glass wall light/sconce designed by Carl Fagerlund and made in collaboration between Danish light manufacturer LYFA and Swedish glasswork Orrefors in the 1960s. Rare “Venus” model. Thick transparent crystal glass shade with an embossed pattern of bubbles, curved to a half circle form. The shade is fixed with 2 brass knobs to a thin polished brass wall mounting. It illuminates beautifully (see pictures). Original label intact.
Re-wired (hardwired) and ready to be used (compatible in Europe, US, UK, etc.). Requires 1x E14 light bulb (E12 in the US), max 40W. LED compatible. Height: 25.5 cm/10”; width: 15 cm/5.9”; depth (from wall): 12 cm/4.7”. Quite heavy (2.7 kg).
Excellent vintage condition. No chips, no cracks or other damage to the glass. Light patina on the brass parts.
