Thayer Coggin’s Clip Sectional with Cocktail ottoman designed by Ransom Culler. This sectional and ottoman feature unique ebony-finished maple clips, supporting the sectional and ottoman to create clean and crisp curving lines without compromising style and the visual focus on its beautiful body design and leather upholstery. All pieces are covered in TC’s Optima Leather in an Ivory color, one of their top tier sellers until discontinued in 2013. Poly blend down filled cushions create a cloud-like seat for amazing comfort. A total of twelve back cushions (six large and six small) are included also covered in TC’s Optima Leather, as well as one cocktail ottoman for drinks.

For decades, this sofa has remained one of Thayer Coggin’s contemporary classics, and demands a place in any sitting area where both style and comfort are coveted.

moreThe original purchase of this sectional and ottoman included a large, circular, ebony colored tray which rested on top of the ottoman. This tray shows crackling lacquer and rings where drinks had been set without coasters. It is included with the purchase of this piece, however a replacement may be advised. The weight of tray on top of ottoman over time has caused a slightly darker rubbed patina in the ottoman’s top.

Two small 1/4” imperfections exist in the optima leather on the seat of the sectional, one on either piece. Shown in the photos is an example of such imperfection. The other is hidden by the included pillows near the sectional’s center.

Minor superficial age crackling also exists in the leather of some pillows. Visible upon close inspection, these imperfections are strictly indicative of age and do not affect the integrity of the leather in such cases. less
