This fabulous polished brass swivel picture frame is mid-century modern and in the style of Paul Lobel (1899 – 1983). The frame swivels and is double-sided. It dates from the 1950s, but its chic and classic design remains modern and timeless. It makes a great desk accessory, console frame, or bedroom addition. There is no visible maker’s mark.
The frame is in good condition, with minor wear on the metal, but it does not significantly affect the overall appearance. Note also that one of the glass sheets has a tiny chip. This chip is inside the metal holder, so it is not visible when the frame is complete.
Measurements:
Overall: 4 in wide (10 cm) x 2 in deep (5 cm) x 7 in high (18 cm).
Opening (picture view): 3.75 in wide (9.5 cm) x 5 in high (12.50 cm).
