The base is constructed of mahogany, which is a very dark wood, so the base cannot be refinished in a light color, but can be finished in most darker colors, including brown walnut, espresso, or any color solid lacquer such as black or white. With it’s two leaves installed, the table measures an impressive 94″ W.
