Eight stunning bowl-shaped pendant lights / uplight plafonieres / flush mount light fixtures dating back to the 1950s. These exquisite lights, originally designed by Architect Albrecht F. Hrzan, were a part of the iconic redesign of Vienna’s Filmcasino in the 1950s. The Filmcasino stands as one of Vienna’s most esteemed and historic Midcentury cinemas. These amazing lights were custom-crafted exclusively for the cinema, they are „one of a kind“ pieces and they were never commercially available. Crafted from aluminum, each light has a generous diameter of 38 inches and features six light sources. Carefully restored and rewired, these fixtures are in impeccable condition. Professionally finished in a delightful beige/off-white ivory and an elegant bordeaux dark red color, these lights offer a warm, inviting indirect soft light. They will be delivered fully rewired and ready for installation at your desired location, embodying the exquisite style reminiscent of Jean Royère.
Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
