An enormous and elegant table lamp, Post-Modernist, Shabby-Chic, large cubic base in thick nickel-plated bronze plates, topped by a thin cylindrical axis and a beautiful circular lampshade, by Philippe Barbier, France 1970.
DIMENSIONS: H 71 x D 50 cm
Base only: H 45/51 (with or without socket) x 23 x 22 cm
CONDITION: In beautiful original condition.
Wear, scratches, marks, patina of use on all surfaces.
Note, an area of wear on the nickel allowing the bronze to show through, on one of the facets of the base, see photo.
Also note, slight traces on the nickel plating at the corners of the base, see photo.
