Vintage Design
A very large, spectacular and sculptural, table or floor lamp with 2 lights and 2 handles, Modernist, Free Form, Popular Art, Shabby-Chic, unique piece in thick ceramic with brown and bluish shades with a generous openwork body on a luminous relief (by a second internal lighting) with double stylized handles, a real artist’s piece, signature (Freder? Tieder?) to be identified under the base, France 1950.
The colors, dimensions and quality of construction of this piece are obviously reminiscent of Les 2 Potiers…
But the openwork body on an interior appendage with backlighting evokes the luminous creations of Georges Pelletier… The signature remains to be identified.
