Incredible pair of table lamps made in brass and beautiful red and blue glass, attributed to Pietro Chiesa’s designs for Fontana Arte as shown in a pair of floor lamps documented on page 202 of the lighting bible “1000 Lights” by Charlotte and Peter Fiell, where we can see clear similarities with Pietro Chiesa’s work. At the base the beautiful cut glass always present in the most excellent works of Fontana Arte, a brass body showing its patina holds the spectacular piece of glass cast in a clearly artisanal way showing inside small bubbles as we can see in the blue glass or the fine lines or folds on the back of the red glass, latent sample of the craftsmanship of these beautiful crystals. As a whole the color contrast gives an even more outstanding singularity to any decoration.
