Chiara floor lamp, modern Italian, by Cini Boeri for Fontana Arte, 1980s. Chiara model floor lamp with round metal base, grooved blue Murano glass stem and opaline Murano glass lampshade, white inside and light blue outside. Produced by Fontana Arte in approx. 1980. designed by Cini Boeri. The switch with dimer, to regulate the intensity of the light, was designed by Gianfranco Frattini and is equipped with an E27 connection. Very good condition. Measurements in cm 45x161h Spectacular piece of the history of Italian and international design, a museum piece, almost completely made of glass (apart from the round base, made of black metal), one of its main peculiarities that makes this lamp a sculpture as well as a object to illuminate. Fragile but resistant, thin but heavy, the Chiara floor lamp by Cini Boeri is an unmissable piece for an original but elegant home.
