Vintage Design
Exceptional hanging lamp by Biancardi & Jordan, Arte Verona, Italy, manufactured in the 1970s. This lamp is a special highlight due to the rare design and the materials used. The hanging construction consists of hammered metal with a special suspension and a clear ceiling end. The lamp corner is a composition of different colored glass massifs (the technology is called Terra Fatta) and metal plates arranged in between. An extremely remarkable design that is rarely found. Biancardi & Jordan were a direct competitor of Albano Poliian and his company, but the pieces of Biancardi & Jordan were made in much lower number and are therefore less common. Dimensions approx. 64 cm – 25.20 in, total height including suspension 140 cm – 55.12 in, diameter 28 cm – 11.02 in. Exceptionally good condition, ready for use.
