A finely made Art Deco Carlton Ware pottery Rouge Royal Mikado pattern vase dating between 1935 and 1955. The vase is of conical shape and stands on a narrow rounded foot with four molded rings around the lower edge the body decorated in deep rich red lustre glazes with chinoiserie painted designs applied in colored enamels and highlighted with gilding and with gilding applied to the four rings around the foot and to the top rim. The vase retains an original makers paper label and has printed and impressed marks to the base.
