Vintage Design
An iconic lamp designed by Louis Weisdorf for the Danish lamp manufacturer Lyfa.
The lam consists of different facets where the outside is silver colored aluminum with the inside in two different shades of blue.
The lamp is like a 3D puzzle, with eighteen identical metal elements, each a long punched and curved piece that fits into the next, and the next, until a cylinder is formed. Light comes through small gaps between the pieces, revealing the tones inside while filtering the light.
The lamp is also excellent as a hanging window lamp, hang over a sideboard or light up a corner of the room!
18 cm ø and 28 cm high.
There are a number of small dots/pimples on the metal, see pictures. Otherwise in very good condition with newly grounded electricity carried out by an electrician.
