Bellevue Chair by André Bloc, France, 1950s

A very rare and iconic “Bellevue” chair designed by André Bloc and manufactured in France around 1950. This stunning piece is fully original and in beautiful condition, making it a really special find. Since it was designed only a few pieces were produced, yet it is a highly recognizable piece of mid-century design that draws the attention of any design enthusiast. It is most likely named after Bloc’s Bellevue house in Meudon, France. Made of high quality bent wood in a lovely elegant design, supported by a folded tubular black metal frame which nicely compliments the overall balance and appeal of the chair.
